Great Lakes Fly and Supply was born from a lifelong love of Michigan's rivers, lakes, and the traditions that surround them. Every fly we tie is made by hand — each one tied with as many materials sourced from Michigan hunters and trappers as possible.

Hand-Tied, Michigan-Made

Our flies are all tied by hand, one at a time, by me, right here in Michigan. I’m not running a massive factory overseas or outsourcing the production line, every fly that goes out the door comes off my personal vise. I sell flies I use, I tie my flies with Michigan hatches specifically in mind and you’ll find me on the water fishing with these patterns. When you buy from me, you’re getting a fly tied by someone who actually fishes it.

Natural Materials, Honest Craft

I source and sell the natural fly-tying materials I believe in — the same ones I use myself. Whether you're just starting out or have been at the vise for decades, I want to help you tie flies that fish as well as they look.
