This is the fly-fishing answer to the classic “pig and jig” rig for bass fishing. These work great in lakes and rivers for large bass and pike. They also have landed some great trout in Michigan. Fish these slow and bounce off the bottom. There are so many layers of movement that fish will often hit on the slow strip motion.
